HOSE ME, the series represented in this showcase, is my latest collection of mark making on canvas, paper and board.  The compulsive marks in the paintings and drawings live along side the world of discipline and the formal painting process.   I approach each piece with an understanding of a physical image and allow internal forces of perception and chance to collide on the surface.  Language has found its way into my work of late and dances alongside the physicality of paint.

My aim is to momentarily harness logic, intuition and guesswork.  Sense and nonsense live in one world as they do in my paintings.
