Since many years my life is divided between Mallorca, an isle in the Mediterranean Sea, where I live for most of the year in an 500 year old farm house which I renovated myself, and a few month in New York with all the hectic and excitement of a big city.
In Mallorca I don't have electricity besides what a few solar panels can produce, but it is enough for some light bulbs, a CD player and a small computer. There is also no running water. And there are no neighbors too close by. It's quiet - and remote, but perfect for work.
Last year a group of art enthusiasts founded - over a glass of red wine - 'caratart' www.caratart.de. I am one of the mentors . Our goals, my personal vita etc you will find on the caratart web page (English version).
I am also part of the Brooklyn based Art House Co-Op, www.arthousecoop.com , were I participated in the Sketch Book Project of 2011.
I showed my newest cycle of drawings about the Red Hook and Gowanus Canal area of Brooklyn a Government sponsored exhibition www.kunstpavillon.org in my hometown of Munich last year . My former gallery for many years in New York - OK HARRIS - www.okharris.com will take over that show. The opening is in the fall season of 2013 - exact date will be published soon.
