William Andersen has exhibited his artworks throughout the United States and internationally in Japan, Taiwan, China, Malaysia, Kuwait and Dubai.
He is currently the Art Coordinator and an Assistant Professor in Studio Arts / Graphic Design at the American University of Kuwait. Prior to his appointment at AUK, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Beloit College and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to study Chinese art and culture in Taiwan and Mainland China in 2000-2001. He received a MFA degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2000, and a BFA degree in Painting & Drawing and a Cross-School Major in Art History & Criticism from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1992.
