My art dances between life and death. My pieces are built from the beauty of objects that are no longer being used for their original purpose, may it be a collection of bones, a found antique, or a discarded object. I create sculpture using objects left behind from lives past, and build new forms of life. I am obsessed with the process of turning objects that some view as ugly or useless into hidden treasures filled with beauty. I enjoy incorporating my sculptures in installations, bringing an outside world to the inside, and placing the viewer in a world of my imagination. Through my installations, people can experience the fantasy I see everywhere. I create to build dreams for the non-dreamers. This passion has continued to puddle inside my body, in an endless spring of desire to create. I must create to help understand myself and in turn my self seems to drip from my pieces, which almost always contain an elongated neck; the length of the neck reflects my search for truth in life. I build sculptures to answer the questions life breaths into us. Each piece brings me one step closer to my self, and in turn brings the viewer one step closer to the fantasies which rest within them.
