STATEMENT I have been a painter for over 25 years. However, I  also create conceptual installations and mixed-media assemblages using discarded  material. This waste provides an opportunity  to  present the  material in an altered, meaningful and  beautiful form.  I invite the viewer to become engaged with my work not only on the beautiful sensory level but intellectually as well. The intent is not only  for the viewer to develop an appreciation for art that creates environments out of waste but also to cultivate attitudes about  our collective responsibility for maintaining and ensuring a clean world.
