Living my first 25 years in Plymouth, Massachusetts, art had been a part of my life as far back as I can remember.  I come from a very creative family.  My mother is excellent at drawing and my grandmother painted exquisite oil paintings.

I began to seriously study art in early high school, taking art electives involving drawing and two-dimensional art.  Following highschool, I went to college and studied two and three dimensional art.

As I reached the age of 26, I moved to Los Angeles, California.  I started painting shortly thereafter.  Self taught, I have studied numerous books and web instructors on painting and art and I am currently looking at schools to attain my degree.  Although I occasionally use oils, I predominantly choose acrylics and am now incorporating mixed medias in my most recent works.  I enjoy painting various compositions and I prefer to do so with bright, vibrant colors.
