Statement

BIOGRAPHICAL EXCERPT

Attend the San Alejandro Academy in Havana, Cuba. Her works focus in a recreation on Afro- Cuban tradition and legends using painting, tapestry, soft sculpture, drawing, and multimedia installations. Actively present in several private and public collections. Her works could be found in several international Art fair like Of the Main, NY; Circa, Puerto Rico; Arteaméricas, Art Miami, FL and Art Santa Fe, MN

 

including: the National Museum of Fine Arts in Havana in 1970, the Cuban Cultural House in Prague in 1980, The Museum of Modern Art de Baie Saint Paul Quebec 1992, The Museum of the Americas in Washington, D.C. in 1992, the Discovery Museum in Conneticut in 1998, The Museum of Latino American Art, 2008, The Lyman Allyn Art Museum, 2009.
