Artist Statement:
Life,
We feel at odds at times, at different times throughout our lives. We love; we feel anger; we hurt; we laugh; we cry; we let go; we turn a page, and new chapter begins.
I enjoy drawing a story of the human condition. I tend to lean towards identity and transition as my main focus. My motivation comes from everyday life, friends or family that possesses a certain something that I feel a need to connect with and further explore.
My paints allow me to express my feelings on my transition series, portrait, digital and nudes. I get what I need to know of each piece of work completed, having a better understanding of myself and others.
