i live along the coast of southern california in the city of long beach….as a child i was inspired by many artist. picasso, who made me reject one answer fits all, matisse and gauguin for using color as essential elements of the composition and flat surface... my mother, has always been a true inspiration, and work of art, along with her artist friends and musicians, our home was a most inviting and colorful place to live and that had a great impact on me.

i consider myself mixed media painter, using acrylics, oils, canvas, paper, masonite, pastels and i tend to lean towards figurative and conceptual art but do an occasional landscape to clear my head.
