I am a researcher, nonconformist, aspiring poet, escapist and Formula-1 lover. I investigate artistic, cultural and existential conflicts.
Art is, for me, an ethical-aesthetical-technical tool to think about the world, and a magnifying glass with which I explore life. I believe in the transformative power artistic thinking has on the individual. Art allows me to deconstruct and refract reality on my own terms, in order to build an anarchic, romantic and contradictory world... an imperfect paradise where nothing is impossible.
My practice tends to expansion. Ideas (creative impulses) are the raw matter and the construction materials of my work. They operate like the bricks of a building. Once I agglutinate them -by different audiovisual mediums, artistic forms, time uses and forms of production- my ideas form entireties. So here, architecture functions like an organizational method and an instrument of conceptual construction.
Currently, I am developing work methodologies and a body of thought generated from the intersection of art, poetry, philosophy, sports and technology. I aim to produce an art that is solid, relevant to the demands of the XXIst century. The point consists in disclosing a body of work and a theoretical proposition that departs from my condition as a technologized, digitalized, interconnected human being and my experience as a world citizen raised in a non-modern society, like Bolivia.
