I found that the best way to talk about the creative process is the use of space; negative and positive. 2D or 3D should not make any difference as long as the viewer is brought into the space. ie: cubism's fourth dimension.
Thanks for taking the time to look at the bit of work I've posted at Artslant. I live in Marin and will be keeping an eye out for a local opportunity to see your work.

I agree with your comment to Julie Davidow. The problem is that the business of art is at best, kietch. Andy Worhall must be dancing in his grave as the world is now all POP CULTURE. Or better titled, POP SHLOCK. Your work is creative and original. Keep the faith, DovBer Marchette

Thanks for the explanation about your work. Interesting.
. .. hey james, just wanted to respond to your "sculpture as photoshop" comment, and no james, no computer related anything, these are three-dimensional objects physically collapsed into two-dimensional planes, in this age of disembodiment and mechanical reproduction you could be excused for thinking that but in my my work i'm actually seeking to counter this trend, i don't know weather your misunderstanding of my work speaks to its success or its failure, or just to the contrariety of having to present these pieces online as digital reproductions, you can see a short video of a piece in progress at
