The jurying panel for Round One included our first Golden Frame artist, Julie Davidow, curator Walter Mason (Haggerty Museum of Art) and Hillary Metz (Director, Blythe Projects, Los Angeles).

There is a one-time entry fee of $2 which makes you eligible for all 6 Rounds of the 2011 Showcase (more info).

WHAT ARE THE AWARDS & PRIZES?

Over $20,000 in cash and cash equivalent prizes!

Showcase Winners: Will be exhibited in the online Showcase premium placement box and be promoted to thousands of art watchers and buyers. Award designation will appear on the Artist Profile. Premium placement fee applies.

Juried Select Winners: Receive special display in our online Showcase and on our homepage. Winners will be presented to all ArtSlant subscribers in The Views e-publication. Juried Select Winners from all Rounds are automatically entered for the 2011 ArtSlant Prize (formerly Golden Frame competition). Ten Juried Select Winners are chosen from each Round.

ArtSlant Prize: A final panel of gallerists and curators will award the ArtSlant Prize to the top 3 artists from all Juried Select Winners. The winning artists will be curated into the ArtSlant exhibition. In the past, ArtSlant has featured prominently at Fountain Fair during New York Armory Week and Aqua Art during Art Basel Miami.

2011 ARTSLANT PRIZE

1. Three winning artists receive an exhibition in a top ArtSlant city.

2. The winners each receive $1,000 in cash and cash equivalent prizes.

3. Purchase Awards totaling $5000 announced during the show.

4. Purchased works become part of the ArtSlant Collection.

5. Exposure, exposure, exposure

**Fees from the ArtSlant Showcase competitions will be dedicated to promoting our winners to the worldwide community of art buyers and art professionals.
