I want to write for ArtSlant? What opportunities are there?

ArtSlant has editorial teams in many of its key art cities, as well as community contributors from around the world. We are always looking for experienced writers with expertise in contemporary art. Get involved in the arts dialogue by contributing your words to ArtSlant!

Write a Review

Anyone from the community is encouraged to add their comments and reviews to ArtSlant. As we are a community-driven site, the vibrancy of our community is apparent in the quality of our arts commentary.

To contribute your review, comments, essay, or interview, please go to our exhibitions listing (found under the Calendar) and locate the exhibition you would like to review. Click on the >Write a Review link under the calendar listings for your exhibition.  Our add form will open up and you can paste your review and add images to the text field. Please save as you work. To edit an article that you create, or to remove it completely, simply use the links in the Change box on the right side of the saved article.

To add images to your text, use the Picture icon found on the bottom row of the text box icon menu. You will also notice other formatting icons, such as fonts, colors, etc.

You can also find the Write a Review link in the Actions box on the exhibition display pages.

You must be registered in order to contribute commentary. Your contribution will appear immediately under Picks & Reviews (found in our Calendar section), in our Community section, and attached to our exhibition and venue displays.
