The female yogi sheds her skin in rabbit pose, like the snake. On the deepest level Snake's skin shedding symbolizes death and rebirth, an idea which is depicted by the image of a snake swallowing its own tail, a symbol of eternity.
The artwork is embedded with semi precious stones and minerals for their energetic properties.
JADE - Brings peace, calm and stabilizing effect on the body. Courage, clarity and tranquility of the mind. Erases stomach and digestive disorders.
GEODE - The geode structure itself exhibits several properties in addition to the properties of the contained minerals. These properties include astral travel, and assistance in the pursuits of mathematics. The geode also allows one to both recognize and analyze the total picture prior to decision-making, It allows one the freedom to mold and to shape ones own future, and assist one in attaining highly effective communication skills. It furthers ones connection to the higher forces and the higher planes, stimulating the bridge of association with those of like pursuits.
It can also be used in the treatment of disorders associated with the hands, lungs, and nervous system. The “brain geode” which is found with a conglomerate on the exterior of the geode, has also been used in the treatment of brain tumors and mental imbalances. Vibrates to the number 9.
QUARTZ is a receiver, amplifier, conductor and generator of energy. Used for meditation, transformation, stability, knowledge, protection, healing, and enlightenment. It increases the auric field.
KUNZITE - This mineral activates the heart chakra and aligns the heart chakra with the throat chakra and third eye. It synthesizes the energies to produce loving thoughts and loving communication. Just holding the stone produces a feeling of a powerful peace. The energy moves through the stone with a sword like action to remove emotional and physical pain. It is a good meditation stone for bringing in inspiration and giving out the messages to others. Kunzite is also a health aid for receptivity and balance.
It is no coincidence that the snake and the Griffin appear as abstract figures in the wax and seen in the right lighting. Both become the totem animals represented in the artwork here. Their energies are as follows.
The Achaemenids considered the griffin "a protector from evil, witchcraft and secret slander".
The griffin was also thought of as king of all creatures. Griffins are known for guarding treasure and priceless possessions.
Snake is a powerful animal guide, a symbol of transformation and healing. The snake is wisdom expressed through healing. This is a protector and guardian. If a snake has come into your life, your creative forces are awakening. Your intuition will strengthen and be more accurate.
Snakes / serpent's power includes - Being the messenger of the Rainbow Serpent, wisdom, healing, initiation, elusiveness, manipulation of lightning, transmutation, exploration of the mysteries of life, primitive or elemental energy, protection from religious persecution, goddess energy, psychic energy, creative power, immortality and the connection to, or forming, the magic cord by which the shaman travels to the soul world. Snake medicine is the energy of wholeness, cosmic consciousness, and the ability to experience anything willingly and without resistance. It is the knowledge that all things are equal in creation, that all is one.
The snake depicts healing on a cellular level. With their lightweight and flexible bodies they possess extremely fast and agile. If snake enters your life, expect swift changes to sweep through your life. These changes denote death of the old and a birth into untapped power, creativity and wisdom. Snake is very powerful to have to have as a guide. It is the guardian of sacred places and the keeper of concealed knowledge.
