Jane Olsen Tasciotti

I carry my camera everywhere.  I see beauty all around me and have to capture it, then put it in my computer and improve upon the captured image until it matches my vision.  This marquee caught my eye for several reasons: my sister studied drama and used to live in Chicago and I loved the movie Chicago.  I was not as fond of the surrounding buildings and decided to decrease their importance and concentrate on the theater signage.  This piece was recently selected by the ARTslant judges as a Round #3 2011 Showcase Winner.  Thanks for selecting one of my favorites.
