Our Mission

To provide a forum for British Contemporary art by presenting exhibitions, programs and resources to educate, engage and inspire youth and adult audiences in the Dallas area and abroad.

The Foundation

The Goss-Michael Foundation was founded by George Michael and Kenny Goss in June 2007. As a non-profit organization, the Foundation showcases the couple’s private collection which is comprised entirely of British contemporary art. The Foundation offers the public a rotating schedule of exhibitions that challenge preconceived art notions, striving to set a new standard in artistic awareness by providing visitors with a fresh and fascinating art experience, and thereby generate` new perspectives and conversations on the creative methods of contemporary artists. Locally, the Foundation is dedicated to contributing to Dallas’ thriving artistic community and enhancing the public’s familiarity and interaction with elite international artists. In addition to its stimulating exhibitions, the Foundation has assembled a resource center, providing a library and archive of research materials for the benefit of students, educators and aspiring young artists, as well as a growing scholarship program benefiting Texas high school seniors. Since 2007, over $30,000 in scholarships has been awarded to visual arts and music students enabling them to pursue a higher education in the arts.
