About SCAD-AtlantaSavannah College of Art and Design-Atlanta, in the heart of midtown Atlanta, brings state-of-the-art facilities and learning to an area burgeoning with artistic, cultural and business activity. Our facilities—including classrooms, exhibition space, studios and residence halls—are tucked into the Atlanta arts district, adjacent to the Woodruff Arts Center. You’ll live and learn in a city considered the cosmopolitan center of the Southeast.
SCAD-Atlanta opened in 2005 and expanded in 2006 when the Atlanta College of Art was acquired by SCAD. This broadened our curricula and studio capabilities with offerings at SCAD-Atlanta that aren’t available at SCAD-Savannah, such as our foundry, screen printing studio and letterpress. Our facilities include well-equipped classrooms, multiple galleries, computer labs, a library, photography darkrooms, printmaking and sculpture studios, bookstore, dining hall, fitness center, swimming pool, and two residence halls. Students, faculty, staff and alumni also can sell their work through the shopSCAD retail store and gallery.
