PORI ART MUSEUM

Pori Art Museum houses two permanent collections and a number of deposit collections. The total number of works in the museum is currently nearly 2,800. The main collections are The Collection of Maire Gullichsen´s Art Foundation, which contains 545 works, and the Pori Muncipal Collection, which contains 1,534 works. From the 1950s onwards, most of the works acquired by the City of Pori have been 20th-century Finnish art. The deposit collections support and complement the main collections in the case of both Finnish and international contemporary art.
