The Butcher's Daughter presents The Trace of Archive and Memory. Featuring six artists:Kyohei Abe (MI), Kristina Bilonick (DC), Mira Burack (MI), Cynthia Greig (MI), Michelle McAuliffe (DC) and Alison Wong (MI) the works exhibited include those produced using collage, mixed-media installation, painting, photography, prints, and video.

This exhibition focuses on the trace of archive and memory as it pertains to the creation of an artist's work. Each artist has provided an archive object and a corresponding artwork created in response to, or in the likeness of, said object. The artwork and object will be on display along with an artist's statement regarding the associated memory embedded in the artwork. The archive object, artwork and statement will be displayed together for each artist in the exhibition.
