NadaDada Motel is Reno's annual art festival where artists rent a room and put up a show. For this past year's event, I staged an interactive installation called Dada Motel Variations which included a video with music by Mike Crain, visual work on the walls plus an opportunity for people to have their pictures taken on the bed with blow up dolls. I then printed out the photo with a small 4 x 6 " printer and pasted the photo onto a handsome card with matching envelope.

I used a very Dada approach to writing and compiling the text. Sources ranged from internet discussions about sex in motels to musings on the current political/financial situation in the US. I also used a varieity of fractals with the little "naughty" French clip art figures.
