Lars Brorson Fich: Graphics

Idit Rozenblum: Impressions

Lukas Roels: Angels of Time

In november, KR-line Photo Art Gallery exhibits works of 3 of its current artists. Bringing 3 different artists, each with their distinctive works, the gallery tries to give a view, be it limited, of the many aspects and uses of photography as an art medium.

Lars Brorson Fich is a Danish architect. In his series “Graphics”, he shows materials that are used in his professional life in an unusual way. Old construction iron is photographed and then printed with very high contrast, resembling large scale indian ink drawings. His prints become abstract restpoints in an otherwise hectic world.

Idit Rozenblum transforms digital photographs into very personal impressions and interpretations of reality. Using computer painting programs, Idit changes electric lines into visual attractive color patches. Desserts or seascapes become the settings of colorfull dreams. Printed on canvas, these works invite you to travel in the vast space of Idit's dreams.

For about 10 years now, making soft and gentle portraits of naked children, Lukas Roels is trying to capture the innocense of yought. The nudity of the children in his portraits has nothing sexual, they don't hide anything, they don't provoke, they just exist. Children are sometimes self assured, sometimes a bit naughty, but always innocent... They ask to look at them with the same open mind, without any prejudice.
