> DESCRIPTION

Established in 1991 to commemorate the Chernobyl disaster, The 4th Block International Triennial of Eco-Poster aims to represent “the most significant art achievements of the world design community on ecological subject matter.” Primarily a poster exhibition, the Triennial also accepts video, animation, installations, commercials, and other projects with an ecological theme in the show's "Social Eco Project" category. The competition accepts works from individual authors, as well as from teams of artists and designers. Members of the exhibition's international jury hold open workshops during the exhibition, and an awards ceremony recognizes exemplary work in each submission category. Following the exhibition, an illustrated catalogue of all works is published, accompanied by a CD. All art becomes a part of the permanent collection of The 4th Block Museum.
