The inaugural exhibition is entitled “Paint As You Like And Die Happy!”, and will include work by London, Athens and New York based artists Anton Zolotov (b. 1982), Bobby Dowler (b. 1983), Christopher Green (b. 1983), Phoebe Mitchell (b. 1987), Ralph Hunter-Menzies (b. 1988), Shaun McDowell (b. 1981), and Sofia Stevi (b. 1982). A catalogue with an essay by Irishman Paddy Butler will accompany the show (below). The title is borrowed from the mystical words of wisdom once imparted by the traveling American writer and painter Henry Miller (1891-1980). Miller's motto for young artists and his final book, 'The Colossus of Maroussi' (1941), an ecstatic, rambling love letter to Greece, still reverberates, energizes and inspires young artists.
