Heidi Kirkpatrick’s solo exhibition is a bit like walking into the artist’s living room. It is an intimate three-dimensional installation that encompasses family, history, love and loss. The artist is giving a talk at 7:00 on First Friday about this dynamic installation at C4FAP. The Public is welcome.
Heidi is a Portland photographer and artist, using found objects to create intimate and personal sculptures. Her work is mysterious, personal, and nostalgic. She explores themes of family, childhood, addiction, and pain. There is a sense of play present, but serious play that makes the viewer consider his or her own memories and insights. She has a book of her work, Lost and Found, through Blurb.
