This event coincides with the current solo exhibition by Vera Iliatova titled "Days of Never" (through April 27).
Kathryn Maris is a poet from New York City who now lives in London. She received a BA from Columbia University and an MA in creative writing from Boston University. She has published poems in The Spectator, Poetry Review, The Harvard Review, Modern Poetry in Translation, Poetry, Slate and several anthologies including Best British Poetry and Oxford Poets 2010. Among her awards are an Academy of American Poets University and College Prize, a Pushcart Prize, and fellowships from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Yaddo, and the Hawthornden Castle. Her first collection, The Book of Jobs, was published by Four Way Books in 2006. She has taught creative writing at Boston University, the Gotham Writers Workshop, Kingston University and, currently, at Morley College and the Poetry School in London. She also writes essays and reviews for British and American periodicals. God Loves You is her second poetry collection.
