> DESCRIPTION

With an eclectic array of mediums and genres, this installation reveals the many ways artists working from the late 19th century to the present have experimented with the pleasures, hostilities, and politics of spectatorship.

This exhibition has been curated by Professor Kimberly Lamm and her students in the Women’s Studies course “Gender, Sexuality, and the Image”: Jesse Bandeen, Isalyn Connell, Blair Dawkins, Emily Ellsworth, Katy Falletta, Ngozi Esomonu, Paula Pimentel, Gregory Lahood, Yunyi Li, Addie Malone, Minali Nigam, Nicole Rudden, Busi Sibeko and Catherine White.
