The newest edition of Two Artists One Space highlights the work of two emerging women artists who create process-oriented works which are formally outstanding and invite the viewer to experience them as both physical and mental spaces. Andrea Donnelly’s wall-size weavings representing figures in meditative poses or imprints of the artist’s body are created by a time consuming process called “warp weaving”. Heather Lewis’s installations investigate the drawing medium through stenciling, cut paper, and light projections which transform the silhouettes of everyday objects into new contexts.
