About Off the Wall Juried Exhibition
Each year the Danforth’s Juried Exhibitions showcase new and exciting contemporary work created by both emerging and established member artists. Juried annually by a renowned curator, Off the Wall communicates a unique curatorial vision and has been reviewed in Art New England, artscope, The Boston Globe, The Boston Phoenix and in numerous on-line publications. It also receives wide-spread attention from curators and gallery owners and is visited by a growing number of collectors who have the opportunity to purchase original work.
Juror for Off the Wall
Cody Hartley is currently the Director of Gifts of Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He joined the MFA in 2008 as Assistant Curator of Paintings in the Art of the Americas department, where he contributed to the installation of the new Americas wing, made a number of significant acquisitions, and was a contributing author to several MFA publications. Prior to joining the MFA, Hartley was Assistant Curator of American Art at the Sterling and Francine Clark Institute in Williamstown, MA.
