Featuring salon-style installations of artwork selected from the collectionsof seven of Colorado`s most significant and passsionate collectors, Points of View highlights the breadth and range of collecting in the Front Range Colorado community and allows audiences a view into the remarkable breadth of collections that continue to develop in our region. The Exhibition features traditional Chinese scrolls, as well as modern and contemporary art from Russia, China, the United States, Europe, and elsewhere.

 

Collection of Wayne F.Yakes, MD

The exhibition will highlight selections of the many Soviet and Post-Soviet masterpieces from the 1960s to the present from Dr. Wayne Yakes`prolific Denver collection of modern and contemporary Soviet and Russian art, one of the most important collections of its kind in the United States and internationally. In addition the exhibition will feature examples of Dr. Yakes` broader interest in global contemporary art, featuring examples of his Chinese contemporary sculpture.
