As visitors walk around with their devices, they become part of the show.
Those viewing with smart phones perform the familiar ritual of engaging in mediated reality.
Those without smart phones may be confused by, apathetic to, or tempted to join in the behavior of those with devices.
Despite this uncertain dynamic, "scanning" the traditional way (with one's eyes) is instrumental in viewing this work.
Through a variety of tech-infused mediums, Ko fuses ideas and imagery ranging from ancient traditions and mythologies to the very modern and familiar. In this way she endeavors to present simultaneously satirical and straightforward ways of looking at contemporary culture's state of being.
