Helen Gory Galerie showcases a dynamic selection of its represented artists
Each of these artists interrogates and processes their surroundings, weaving their way through history, folklore and culture to explore notions of identity and power. The artists acknowledge the myriad influences that inform and shape us and celebrate life's ambiguity and contradiction. These works are rich with complexity and embodied meaning; stark realism gives way to an other-worldliness, the smug certainty of reason jostles with the conjecture of spirituality, and firm lines waiver and blur.
'I look for ambiguity when I’m writing because life is ambiguous.' Keith Richards
In exchange MOP will present ‘Zooplasty’ at Helen Gory Galerie.
