The console makes its home in gallery c. de vos with the programmatic opening exhibition . 

The console is a platform for artists who create multidisciplinary and interactive works of art. The platform's aim is to avoid traditional exhibitions-rather, it seeks to present eye-catching interventions and cross-fertilizations, embodied in production processes. The result may be an installation, an edition, a publication. Artists who are involved with various disciplines have the opportunity to confront each other's context, questioning existing boundaries.

For the platform's opening exhibition, This House - This Home, Stefan Annerel (B), Ephameron (B), Tinka Pittoors (B) and Jan van der Ploeg (NL) were invited to create an installation. In a certain sense, this opening exhibition is programmatic: the console wants to be a house/home for artists seeking interdisciplinary cooperation. Visual artists encounter a graphic artist. Together they make their home in a gallery -a place which houses/is home to art. A gallery for that matter that from the outside is very similar to a "real" house. And a house is also literally created in the installation. The curator's part in this exhibition is not so much devising concepts-rather she acts as a moderator and facilitator. A part that is indeed more appropriate on the occasion of the birth of something new? 

The console is also home to a record label for innovative musical genres: ConSouling Sounds. The record label provides another opportunity to promote interartistic cooperation
