> DESCRIPTION

In the hands of today’s artists, even the most mundane of materials—from blood to breakfast cereal to electronic circuitry, pasta noodles—can be recycled and transformed into art that is sometimes beautiful, often challenging, always thought-provoking. Cat Chow, Angela Ellsworth, Rosemarie Fiore, Carlo Marcucci, Mark Khaisman, Jennifer Maestre, Jean Shin, Dan Steinhilber and Jess von der Ahe are among the established and emerging artists in this sequel to Extreme Materials, the wildly popular show organized by MAG in 2006.
