‘Never Let Me Go’ is an exhibition inspired from the novel by Japanese born British author Kazuo Ishiguro. We have invited 10 artists from across the region to read the book and create a piece of work that physically uses the novel as a central element of the artwork, culminating in a thought provoking exhibition presented throughout QUAD’s building.
The Exhibition Celebration will be held on Wednesday 9th February from 6.30pm followed by readings from the book and a public debate in the Cafe Bar from 8:00pm, hosted by QUAD’s reading group, BooksQUAD. We invite you to read the book, see the exhibition, take part in the debate, and return to see the new film adaptation of ‘Never Let Me Go’ which will be showing in QUAD cinema from 25th February.
There is also a chance to talk about the story, as told through words, images, objects and film, at an informal discussion group on Sunday 27th February at 6:00pm.
