Ruth Dusseault, Hope Hilton, Gyun Hur, Scott Ingram, and Jiha Moon were named as the contenders for the $50,000 award, which also includes a solo show at the Jacqueline Casey Hudgens Center for the Arts.

The prize's substantial funds come from an anonymous donor and the jurors include Atlanta's Sylvie Fortin (Editor in Chief of ART PAPERS Magazine); David Kiehl (Curator of Prints at The Whitney Museum of American Art); and Eungie Joo (Director and Curator of Exhibitions and Public Programs at The New Museum).
