An art exhibition with focus on the poster and the reproduced image created by a large group of contemporary artists, comic artists and album cover designers. They all give wide range of interpretations of the poster as a medium and art form. The poster is a social and eagerly communicative art form that comes out where people are. It is therefore to count as an early social technology that over time has been used by everyone to have their say. The poster is also a very seductive medium, where aesthetics and message combined with a rich and diverse cultural history.

The first Piccadilly exhibition took place in 2009 and it is envisaged that an annual exhibition with the goal of creating an original new tradition in Danish art. Under a name which alludes to 19 century's large exhibitions,Piccadilly searches for exotic and neglected works which challenge contemporary demands of contemporaneity and purpose. Piccadilly brings together artists from several different environments and generations.

The exhibition is accompanied by an unique art book The Piccadilly Line # 2 with text on the history of the poster and reproduction of all works published by the publishing house * [asterisk].
