Jaklyn Babington will discuss Roy Lichtenstein’s print projects from the early 1950s through to the 1990s. She will explore the artist’s early expressionist works through to some of his best known pop prints – the ‘remixes’ of romance and war comics, brushstrokes and Lichtenstein’s nude girls. She will also investigate how Lichtenstein used appropriation as a creative strategy.
