The Chelsea Hotel. Even in New York few places can claim the density of association with all things artistic. If ever there was a location that is most real in songs and stories then standing concretely in view on 23rd street, it is this infamous lodging of Bob Dylan and Tennessee Williams. That doesn’t mean it’s not worth a look. Have your own Chelsea morning, “put on the day, and wear it till the night comes.”
