Shoshana Kertesz (b. 1979, Budapest, Hungary)

Shoshana's artwork is inspired by a variety of subjects. Her portrait series shows well known writers, poets and musicians that arouse rapport and admiration in her and a desire to express the feelings that their work and personality evokes in her. Her surrealistic “Time” series explores the relationship between man and time. Is time our friend or our enemy? How does time affect people? Is the end a new beginning? Is time linear?  Is it universal or personal? Her Biblical subjects are expressive of a deep spiritual journey through representations of Biblical characters.

Shoshana immigrated to the United States in 2010. Her paintings and photography have been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions throughout Hungary, Israel and the United States.

Education: `Montazs" Art School, Budapest, Hungary, 1993-1997.

Shoshana Kertesz is offering a wide variety of originals and fine art prints for sale in the ArtSlant Salesroom (here).
