The idea of still life and its codes of representation is one the bases of my creative process. I’m treating body and object as the same. They constitute two parts of a relation and they influence each other. Each artwork shows some fragments of this relation in B&W shades, without any background and uncontextualized. The different parts of body (ex: mouth, hand, feet…) are in relation/alienated with one or many objects (ex: book cover between toes). The absurd and exaggerated use of these objects removes the principal function of the organs, making the body static and more object-like.
