Graham Rhodes (b. Worcester, England)
Graham Rhodes interest in art first started at age 6, when he would used to sit for hours drawing birds and people experimenting with shading and hatching using a selection of pens,pencils and charcoal on scraps of paper and old cereal boxes.
Since his youth Rhodes has now honed in his artistic abilities and creates art professionally from his home in Nottinghamshire. Using asymmetrical and geometric focal point surrounded by negative spaces that will on occasion have some form waiting to be discovered dwelling within.
Rhodes's art arouses the imagintion first by drawing the viewer in with the intricate mass on paper and then secondly by keeping the viewer occupied as they discover the many intricacies that really make his art come to life and add depth.
Graham Rhodes was chosen as Juried Winner in Round #1 of the 2014 ArtSlant Showcase series.
