"I am starting 2009  featuring an artist whose work is expressive, modern,and deeply developed. I have been working with incorporating "textural abstraction" into my own work, so it is treasure of sorts to be able  to talk a little bit with the Austin, Texas Abstract painter,   Mone' Musel,.  The use of texture in her abstract paintings is applied as if she invented it. Not to mention color, and beautiful and rich imagery that at times resonates with a look reminiscent of the late American Indian..."
