As an artist I know how it feels to be only known for one from of media that I use. I think this is true with Gines Serran. I had known about the sculpture work that was put up in Mary Brickell Villiage but never really had seen his paintings. When I went to the opening for this show, I was so impressed by how much texture was placed on the canvas. The colors are amazing and over all the work is outstanding. I think Any artist or art lover should go see this retrospective at least once  in person.
