Artoconecto Announces a Call For Artists!  

Artoconecto presents 'A-B(o)MB' (Art Basel (of) Miami Beach), a juried show of emerging national and international artists that will be a preview for the most important international art fair in the United States. Jury Prize Winner(s), will have their work exhibited during Art Basel week in Miami. Art Basel/Miami Beach has been said to have surpassed New York's Armory Show as well as ArtChicago in importance to collectors of international contemporary and modern art.


At 'A-B(o)MB', Artoconecto, in conjunction with Bakehouse Arts Complex, will examine the impact of Art Basel Miami Beach on the art world by showing the best of cutting-edge new and emerging artists from the United States and abroad. Artists in all media are encouraged to apply. Our shows take place in a festive and unique atmosphere, and include live music and performance. This will be our first show in Miami, after over a dozen shows in Washington, DC, where Artoconecto was a National Endowment for the Arts Grantee.

Deadline for submissions is September 5, 2008, with the opening reception to be held on October 11, 2008.
