Nocturnes is an elaborately designed book that harmonizes a series of stunning black-and-white photographs with a series of eloquent poems. Each poem, printed on a sheet of vellum, serves as a portal to related, mysterious photographs. Last week we took off from Paris, and landed in Berlin to check out the scene there. Despite the absolutely miserable weather we managed to take in some great art and witnessed the vibrant art culture that Berlin hosts:
