> DESCRIPTION

A collaborative exhibition by Koru Contemporary Art and Mur Nomade

The title of this exhibition is intentionally provocative, and invites visitors to question and challenge it. This phrase is often heard during emotional moments, and it is meant to be comforting. However one may say it removes all human or social responsibility.
Things Happen for a Reason is a group exhibition about attitudes toward chance. It presents works dealing with historical moments and memorable encounters, along with pieces exploring themes of acceptance, anxiety, and defence mechanisms.
