This exhibition includes Yu Xining’s 118 representative works of different periods and they are the centralized reflection of Yu Xining’s artistic achievement as well as his personality and artistic characters. Yu is the famous bird and flower painting maestro and art educator of our nation; he is the pioneer and subject builder of advanced art education of Shandong province since the establishment of china; he is the outstanding figure who gets rid of the stale and bring forth the fresh for Chinese painting. Yu has a comprehensive and profound art culture in poet, writing, painting, seals as well as art theory and history. With” cultivation of talent, morality and diligence; three souls in one heart” as his motto, there is a perfect fusion about painting soul, human soul and nation soul on him; he shows the national soul and times features with a magnificent and bright style and made outstanding contributions to the culture and arts cause of the nation.
