This exhibition is a significant commemorative activity to celebrate the 85th anniversary of PLA. The works on display mainly reflect the glorious history of PLA, real life of the army, and mutual support of citizens and the army. It will systematically launch a collection of excellent works of military and historic themes that reflect the growth of people's army under the leadership of CCP, the building of national defense of new China and other important historical events. Particularly, it illustrates the history from a new angle and makes a breakthrough in the form of expression.

The exhibition will exhibit more than 400 pieces of works, which include Chinese paintings, oil paintings, prints, sculptures, installations, watercolor paintings, picture posters, comic strips, experimental artistic works, etc. Covering various artistic styles and forms, this exhibition is highly thoughtful and academic, and displays the excellent military artistic works from the whole army and across the country in the recent five years.
