> DESCRIPTION
"The ways of man are conditioned by those of earth, the ways of earth by those of heaven, the ways of heaven by those of Tao, and ways of Tao by those of nature." said Lao Tzu in his Tao Te Ching.  In Taoism, the dual nature of materialism and spirituality are viewed as the perfection of Tao, and is viewed as the highest level. As for art, spontaneity refers to a state of writing and drawing freely. It is also the highest level pursued by an artist in his whole life. In this exhibition, the 18 participating artists include Ding Yi, Shi Hui, Jiang Dahai, Zhou Changjiang, Lee Lei, Tan Ping, Huang Yuanqing, Liang Quan, Qi Haiping, Ye Fang and Wu Shaoyin, etc. They offer insights into their thoughts on the Chinese view of nature. While reviewing and discussing the abstract aesthetic legacy in China, the exhibition aims to reflect the achievements and highlight of the contemporary abstract art in China.
