Valerie Carberry Gallery opened in 2002 with a focus on Modern and Postwar American art, and represents the estates of John Storrs and José de Rivera. The gallery also represents a select group of mid-career artists of national stature. Areas of specialty include abstraction of the 1930's and 40's and modern sculpture.

Valerie Carberry Gallery is known nationally for strong programming in American art, producing three to four major exhibitions per year with accompanying scholarly publications. The gallery currently exhibits at four art fairs per year: Works on Paper and Art 20, both at the Seventh Regiment Armory in New York City; Art Chicago, and Art Basel Miami Beach.
