Lynne Thomas, Curator, Rare Books and Special Collections Northern Illinois University Libraries presents an examation of Comic Book art - chronologically and socialogically .  Beginning with the Golden Age, continuing through the Silver Age and up through the Modern Age, this exhibition traces Comic Book development including the rise of the Graphic Novel.  Heroes, Villains and the American Zeitgeist is part of our Pop Culture Exhibition Suite and will captivate you with the lively and engaging art and literary nuances of this popular medium.
